About Madden's Seafood - Raleigh

Madden's Seafood has been bringing fresh-from-the-coast seafood to Raleigh and the greater Triangle area for over 10 years. Every Thursday, we make the trip to the North Carolina coast to hand-select the freshest seafood available before returning to North Raleigh for the weekend.

From local North Carolina catches to premium imports from around the world, we take pride in offering a wide variety of seafood, including fresh fish, shrimp, scallops, oysters, clams, lobster tails, crab cakes, and much more.

We encourage customers to place pre-orders Monday through Thursday to reserve their seafood, but we always keep our market stocked with an ever-changing selection throughout the weekend. Looking for something specific? Reach out!

Everything here is fresher than fresh had halibut and shrimp tonight. Just delightful. FYI the Dragon Crunch they sell is a fantastic topping for any fish. Just a bit of a kick but very tasty!!

Madden’s Seafood completely took care of making my daughter!s 30th birthday dinner the best! It’s family tradition to pick crabs and have a couple beers for her bday and this year we got fresh crabs right from the shore! Thanks so much - they were fresh, meaty and very tasty!!!!

By the far the best and freshest scallops and cod we have ever bought. The scallops were so good, the cod was out of this world; without a doubt this was all fresh. We eat cod regularly and this was by far the best we have ever had for our fish and chips. Great customer service, and incredibly helpful. We will not be going anywhere else for our seafood. Highly recommended.

Far and away the best retail dish in the Tri. The Faroe Island salmon is the best salmon you will ever put in your mouth. Made clams linguini for the family. The clams were so meaty and tasty.

We have been buying fresh fish from Madden's Seafood for at least 6 or 7 years, since we first heard of them from mutual friends. Always at its freshest from the coast, and every person working at the stand has been so friendly and helpful! The prices are similar to the "big stores" but we know this is brought in by local fishermen tied to NC. Skip the big stores and shop local.
